Service Opportunities

Communion Preparer:
Sets up elements for communion and cleans up afterwards. Prepares elements for Deacons to commune with sick and shut-in members, when requested.
Congregational Nurse:
Provides comprehensive holistic program prevention and health promotions for our church and community.
Congregational Visitors:
These ministers visit members for prayer and comfort during times of distress.
Counseling:
A confidential ministry to aid those who are in need of guidance or assistance in spiritual or private matters. Individuals, couples and persons of all ages may receive counseling, generally by appointment or by telephone.
Education/Scholarship Committee:
Disseminates information to college-bound youth and oversees the presentation of scholarships to student(s) in their second and subsequent years. Responsible for planning and executing the Annual Education Sunday.
Finance Committee (Trustees):
Prepares and reviews the budget, assesses the financial needs of the various ministries and encourages good financial stewardship. Responsible for the financial oversight of the church together with the Church Treasurer.
Flower Club:
Ensures that flowers are available for each worship service and special events. Ensures flower delivery to the sick. Ensures flowers are planted to help beautify the church grounds.
Office Assistants: 
The clerical staff is responsible for all office duties to include typing, printing, filing,mailings, answering telephone, and ensuring church bulletins are available for worship service on Sunday mornings.
Ground Maintenance:
Oversees the care of the church property to include lawns, plants, shrubs, flowers, cemetery, and trees. Arranges for snow shoveling, as needed.
Historian:
Keeps the church history and archives in order.
Joint Board - Deacons and Trustees:
Meet monthly and serve as the Executive Body of the church.
